Björn Samuelsson is 30 years old and lives in Gothenburg on the Swedish west coast. His musical background is very broad and includes
the Royal Swedish Army Band, professional symphony orchestras, wind bands, pop groups, salsa bands, jazz combos and big bands. 

He now plays with groups like the Stockholm Jazz Orchestra, Swedish Radio Jazz Group and the Peter Asplund Orchestra. His main occupation is with the great Bohuslän Big Band in Gothenburg as lead trombonist. He also teaches students and leads big bands in the Gothenburg area.

Since he started to play proffessionally in 1996 Björn have performed about 1000 times mainly i Sweden, but also in Scandinavia, Japan, England, Ireland, Greece, Scotland, France, Estonia, Hungary, Germany, Portugal and seven US Tours. He is also in demand as a studio musician and his work can be heard on 18 recordings and 4 concert dvd's.
